A gourmand perfume. Sun and citruses in the first sip. Tart smoky coffee and bitter, spicy chocolate. Time stops in the equilibrium point of “now” and “forever.” All you feel is warmth and beat of life. It is a story about a morning glass of orange juice, freshly squeezed and zesty, about a cup of coffee with a biscuit late at night, and about a liqueur-filled chocolate candy.
It’s aroma invigorates, brings a hedonistic mood, it has a tangible warm aura. If put on hair, it makes a good sillage.

What a blast! Fantastic dark-roasted coffee bean and orange zest start dries down (sadly all too quickly on my skin - I'll definitely get the parfum next time) to a still edgy dark chocolate skin scent that has me constantly pressing my nose to my wrist, chasing the sugar. On a prosaic note, the scents arrived incredibly quickly, safe in a little tin, with two samples, both of which are equally fascinating in their development. Ms Zworykina is truly an artist.

This is a vintage interpretation of gourmand, immersing the wearer in a dense layering of dark chocolate, bitter orange, and espresso, but also leaning heavily into the animalic and indolic aspects of its florals. Gourmands rarely strike me as overtly sexy, but this is a dessert for after dark. It's impressively complex for an all-natural creation.

Coffee and chocolate — а very atmospheric gourmand. I get a tad more earthy and woody nuances from this than pure coffee and chocolate. It’s more the smell of the entire coffee house, with old, dark wooden floors and walls, a mixture of furniture in old, worn leather and wood (maybe oak) and the moist fumes of hot chocolate and coffee being brewed behind a sturdy wooden counter. It’s sweet, but never too sweet. The sweetness is being balanced out by the natural bitterness of coffee and cocoa beans, and by the earthy and woody notes.
